Spectrum Community Child Care Center provides childcare services for children within
the ages of birth to 12 years of age. The Center will provide appropriate
daily activities for each age group to include areas of social, emotional, physical
and intellectual needs.
Included in the Center is an infant crib area with a play area for children ages
birth to 1 year. There are separated classroom areas for children 1 to 2 ½
years, 2 ½ to 3 years, 3 to 4 years, 4 to 5 years, 6 to 10 years and 10 to 12 years.
The older children will be separated by age range from the younger children.
The Center is designed with separate sleep space for ages 2 through 5, from the
children 6 years and older. This separate sleep area is for nighttime use
only and only for children regularly scheduled at the Center during the nighttime
hours. Sleeping cots will be set up for the children attending during the
daytime hours in one of the activity rooms. Staff will be assigned to each of these
areas to maintain the appropriate staffing levels required.
Spectrum Community Child Care Center can accommodate up to 75 children and five
spaces for drop-in children throughout the 24-hour period for each day.
