Spectrum specializes in providing adoption services to children that have been abused, neglected and/or  abandoned; and newborns and youth up to age 18 that are permanent wards.  Under Spectrum’s supervision,  clients reside in foster homes, group homes, relative or residential placements until the adoption is finalized.  Services are also available to  foster and non-foster families wishing to adopt.

Success by the Numbers

• Between 2006-2004 permanency was found for 124 children through adoption
• 100% of the adoptive parents and children surveyed were satisfied or extremely satisfied with their adoptive experience through Spectrum
• In recognition of National Adoption Month in February 2006, staff held a banquet for all of their adoptive families
