area of Wayne, Oakland or Macomb counties, can be single, divorced or married and
have sufficient income and space in their home in order to accommodate one or more
children
Milestones Outpatient
Substance Program for Adults
Provides outpatient substance abuse services for adults requesting treatment for
alcohol, tobacco or drug usage. Adults must live in Wayne County but not within
the City of Detroit. Contact: SEMCA (Southeast Michigan Community Alliance)
at 734.229.3500 and request Spectrum Human Services as the provider.
Your Choice
Substance abuse prevention program for youth 7-17 years who reside within the City
of Detroit. Youth are involved in drug free social and recreational activities
and provided education through “male and female responsibility” groups on subjects
such as: social living skills, conflict resolution, what drugs do to your body

Proud Fathers/Proud Parents
Proud Fathers offers parenting classes for men who have children
and are either the custodial or non-custodial parent. Program provides classes
that educate men on how to be effective fathers and how to communicate and work
with the mother of their children in order to be good parents.
Proud Parents offers parenting classes for couples that want to
learn how to be effective parents. Couples can be married, have shared custody
of children or live separately.

Wrap Around – Wayne County
For families residing in Wayne County who are in need of support and assistance
to keep their families in tact. Families typically have had their children
removed due to neglect or abuse or simply are experiencing difficulty in managing
family issues. Families are provided counseling and community resource linkage.
