employed and in school. The program provides an alternative
to out-of-home detention placement.

Home Based Services is a continuum of care
made up of programs designed and implemented to serve
adjudicated youth within the community. Eligible youth
include those 11 to 19 years of age who have been
adjudicated through the Wayne County Juvenile Court System
and need intensive services that are designed to keep them
at home and crime-free. Emphasis is placed on exposing youth
to constructive recreational activities and reputable
employment opportunities, as well as involvement in weekly
social living skill building groups.
