The Family Support Services Division has a commitment and overarching goal of maintaining and strengthening the family unit through several programs including Adoption, Foster Care, Treatment Foster Care, Mommy & Me and Wraparound. The vision of Family Support Services is to expand its longstanding history of preserving and fortifying families throughout several southeastern Michigan counties including Genesee, Macomb, Oakland and Wayne.

Community Based Programs are dedicated to the healthy development and pro-social home, school and community involvement of children and adolescents in Wayne County. This division nurtures and monitors troubled and at-risk youth in Detroit and outer Wayne County, through a variety of innovative prevention and treatment programs.
