It was a fantastic evening for all, at the 2011 Celebration of Stars Gala, hosted by Spectrum Human Services, Inc. & Affiliated Companies. More than 250 guests, friends and donors converged on the GM Heritage Center in Sterling Heights to celebrate and honor the accomplishments of several community, corporate and civic humanitarians.

Detroit’s own Buddy Budson Trio featuring Ursula Walker provided musical entertainment, while Pronto Catering of Royal Oak handled cuisine duties for the evening. Sponsors for the 2011 Gala include

Thank You for Your Support - Spectrum Community Services - Annual Canoe-A-Thon

It was a great time for all at the 11th Annual Canoe-A-Thon, hosted by Spectrum Community Services (SCS). There were sixteen canoes filled with employees, family and friends of the Eastern Region, Southeast Region and Operation ABLE of Michigan!

After a scenic trip down the Huron River, participants gathered at a camp area in Kensington Park for an old fashioned cook-out! Proceeds from the Canoe-A-Thon are used to purchase equipment, furniture, clothing and holiday goodies for the individuals served by Spectrum Community Services.

Thank You for Your Support - 19th Annual Golf Classic

A few raindrops did not stop the more than 150 golfers who hit the links to raise money for vital programs and services at the 19th Annual Golf Classic at Boulder Pointe Golf Club in Oxford.
