Spectrum offers career opportunities in the following categories:
Direct Service Workers
This category of employee plays an essential role in Spectrum’s ability to realize
its mission. Direct service workers are generally entry-level positions requiring
a high school diploma and minimal experience. Employees in this category include
full-time, part-time & emergency relief positions and generally work day, afternoon
or midnight shifts (depending on availability).
Professional
This category of employee is essential to the services provided and Spectrum’s ability
to meet its mission. This category generally requires a combination of a Bachelor’s
Degree in social work or a related degree and experience specific to the services
being provided or within human services field and appropriate certification and/or
licensure. Some positions in this category require a Master’s Degree. These are
generally full-time and part-time positions; paid on a salary basis.
Supervisory / Management
This category of employee is vital, providing supervision and support to direct
service and/ or professional staff as well as various operational positions. This
category generally requires advanced experience related to the type of services
provided. Educational requirements vary based on the system of care, licensing regulations
and contract requirements. These are generally full-time positions; paid on a salary
basis.
Administrative
This category of employee is important to the operations of Spectrum’s programs
and administrative functions, providing clerical support, payroll & finance
support, human resources management and a variety of other types of facility supports.
