Research-Based Program Development Activities
In October, 2010, Spectrum Human Services, Inc. concluded a two year re-entry project targeting juveniles that had sexually offended. The project involving comprehensive re-entry planning and aftercare for juvenile sex offenders following residential treatment was funded by the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Services.
In December, 2010, Spectrum Human Services, Inc. was awarded a contract to develop and implement juvenile sex offender treatment programs for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. Clinical Director, Nancy Calley, is the Project Director on this two year project that will involve the design and implementation of evidence-based treatment programs, the development of a training curriculum and certification process for state workers, and the design and implementation of a quality assurance program and outcome evaluation.
