Specializes in providing safe and loving temporary homes for children that have either been removed from their homes due to neglect and/or abuse or are permanent wards of the court. Newborns up to age 18 come to this program following a referral from Macomb, Wayne and Oakland counties’ Child Protective Services. Foster Care’s goal is to find a permanent home for each child either with a biological family member or through adoption. Children are placed in supportive family environments until a permanency plan is finalized.
